The New Apple Music Festival
Starting April 2008 we will be presenting musical
shows featuring our advisory board members and associate singers and musicians who join our website.
We will showcase the participating performers in live performances in venues around the city.
Each performer interested in joining the New Apple will pay a small submission fee along with their CD or DVD or online
file submissions (see submission page). This will give each person who submits a listing along with a link to their
web site. This site listing will remain active until January 2012.
As time goes by we will be offering competitions
to our members to compete for jobs, recording contracts, lessons, etc. The winners will be carefully selected by our advisory
board . The music festivals will present a variety of
musical talent and showcase new as well as established entertainers.
The performers chosen by our advisory board will be showcased in the appropriate clubs and the finalists will be
voted on by the audience. The awards will consist of club bookings, recording studio time, money, lessons, and award
certificates.
We are proud and honored to have an advisory
board consisting of major musicians, singers, entertainers, agents, schools, teachers and record producers, along with a prestigious
group of participating NYC clubs, cabarets and show rooms. The
members of our board have played an influential role in the field of music and in the development and promotion of performers
and writers.
Our singers and musicians on the board are highly respected in their
chosen fields. We are all dedicated to introduce, help develop as well as promote new talented artists.
Our
festival will also celebrate the great city of New York and contribute to its reputation of the "Music Capital
Of The World".
In addition, as New York City is synonymous with cultural diversity,
the New Apple Music Festival will celebrate many cultures. Therefore, one of the primary purposes of the festival is
to recognize artists from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds .
This festival is open to individual
singers (with their own accompaniment), duos, trios, bands, singers/songwriters. Non singing songwriters must submit their
material recorded on CD or in a music file emailed online. See our submission page for details.
